That the fig tree bear fruit — Re'im, Tishrei 9, and the fourth year of Luke 13
"…let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: and if it bear fruit, well…" —
The governing rule, before anything else
When Jesus was handed reports of a massacre and a fatal collapse, he gave . Were the slain "sinners above all"? "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (, ). Twice asked, twice refused, twice converted into a summons to the living — and then followed by the fig tree parable, where the dung goes onto the tree left standing. Therefore this exhibit renders no verdict on any soul who fell at Re'im and makes no claim to know why particular people were permitted to suffer. Its declared conviction is narrower: to receive the event as a summons to the living, figured as the digging and dunging of Canaan's standing tree, in hope that it bear fruit. CONVICTION

The three years, counted by the parable itself
"Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down" (). The vinedresser's answer is the whole gospel of this hour: one more season — "till I shall dig about it, and dung it" — and then fruit, or the axe (). Three years of seeking; a of grace with the ground broken and dressed; a dated verdict. October 2023 to October 2026 is the parable's own arithmetic laid on the calendar: 3 years of pleading and wake-up calls in and around Canaan, and the fourth-year decision falling at the Sukkot of the 1,335th year ().2,10CONVICTION
And the fig tree is not a random crop. The spies brought figs from the land (); Moses defined it as "a land of… vines, and fig trees" (); Hosea likened the fathers to first fruit in a fig tree (); and the peace on the far side of judgment is every man "under his vine and under his fig tree" (). Those associations are textual; identifying Luke 13's unfruitful tree specifically with the people in the land is this exhibit's interpretive move. SCAFFOLD

Inside the border of Canaan
"And was from Sidon… unto Gaza" ().1 Gaza is the named southwestern extent in the Table of Nations, and Re'im lies nearby in the broader southern region ancient texts associate with Canaan. The verse does not provide a survey line precise enough to prove that a particular modern field lies “inside” it. Calling the event a dunging of Canaan is therefore theological geography — a declared reading, not a cartographic finding. CONVICTION
The event was promoted as the and was attacked at first light on October 7.8 The rabbinic calendar designated that civil date 22 Tishrei / Shemini Atzeret. Under , however, it was Tishrei 9, the eve of the Day of Atonement — not Shemini Atzeret. Solar noon near Re'im fell around 12:53 local daylight time that day. The civil date and rabbinic designation are matters of record; the full-moon date and its relation to atonement and the companion exhibit belong to this corpus's declared conviction. CONVICTION

The dung hill at the border
Judah's Negev allotment lists, beside Ziklag: Madmannah (), a name related to .3 Eusebius and Jerome preserve a tradition identifying with Menois near Gaza. A further modern proposal locates Menois at Horvat Ma'on beside Nirim, in the wider Re'im region.4 That proposal leaves open the possibility that the Nova ground was within view of the ancient candidate site, but the precise identification and line of sight have not been independently established here. The Wellkeeper testifies that he was supernaturally led to this connection and receives it as inspired revelation. That testimony is preserved as WITNESS; the geographic conclusion remains a disputed reconstruction. SCAFFOLD
The fence. The identification is disputed: other scholars place Madmannah northeast of Beersheba (Kh. Umm Deimneh; Kh. Tatrit), and no excavation settles it.4 This exhibit carries the Eusebian siting as the oldest witness, not as consensus — and carries the finding of it as the Wellkeeper's testimony: he was led to the dung hill before he understood why. WITNESS
Isaiah 25 holds in one chapter the feast of wines on the lees (), death swallowed up and tears wiped away (), and Moab trodden "as straw is trodden down for the dunghill" — the word madmenah (). That literary conjunction is textual. Treating the modern festival, the deaths at Re'im, and the disputed Madmannah geography as an enactment of the oracle is this exhibit's typological synthesis, not something Isaiah names. CONVICTION

Does the terrain permit the proposed sightline?
9.735 km · 61 samples
This is a topographic possibility test, not a location claim. The western endpoint is the Nova memorial OSM point; the eastern endpoint is the Pleiades representative point for Maon/Menoeis (place 687964), whose underlying location carries ±100 m stated accuracy. Under those chosen endpoints, the modeled eye-level path clears all 61 sampled SRTM90m points. The narrowest interior sample clears by approximately 2.6 m near Nova.11–13

The rod, and the blade built into the rod
Isaiah presents Assyria as "the rod of mine anger" while stressing that Assyria acts from its own destructive intention — "Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so" () — and is afterward judged for that intention (). Habakkuk likewise places the Chaldeans under sovereignty and then pronounces woes against them (). Those texts establish a biblical pattern in which sovereignty neither excuses nor sanctifies a violent agent. Applying that pattern to Hamas, or interpreting Israel's military response beginning October 7 and its ground operation beginning October 27 as divine judgment, remains theological conviction rather than an observable historical finding. CONVICTION
What this exhibit does not claim. No verdict on the slain — the Siloam ruling forbids it. No false-flag narrative — rejected here plainly. And no settled vehicle-forensics conclusion. The extensive destruction raises a legitimate question about whether the cause was more potent than the weapons publicly attributed to Hamas; that is the Wellkeeper's hypothesis, not a finding established by the sources cited here. A thermobaric mechanism has been proposed, but this exhibit presently lacks a sufficiently direct forensic or primary source to state that mechanism as fact. The cause is therefore left open, and the theological argument does not depend on resolving it. WITNESS
One more debt, paid in the open: verdicts are individual even where fallout is communal. "The soul that sinneth, it shall die" (); the believing spouse sanctifies the union rather than being condemned by it (); and Abigail — wife of a man the text calls a son of Belial — course-corrected herself, was spared, and was blessed (). Households share consequences; souls receive their own verdicts. SPINE

Three anniversaries of Tishrei 9
The refrain of national chastisement is Amos's: blow after blow, each closing "yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD" () — 5 times in one oracle.7 Reading the years since October 2023 through that refrain is the exhibit's dated conviction, not a demonstrated explanation of the events. Select a year:
Tishrei 9 — eve of Atonement on this reckoning (22 Tishrei, Simchat Torah, on the rabbinic count). First light at the Supernova Sukkot Gathering, fields of Re'im. The Gaza war opens October 7–27.
The turn Amos's refrain waits for is Joel's: "rend your heart, and not your garments" (). The fourth year is for rending hearts.

The vintage horizon
Sukkot is the wine feast by statute — "after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine" () — and the promise over Judah is wine-soaked at both edges: garments washed in the blood of grapes () on the dark edge, and on the bright edge an unfinished cup with a date on it: "I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom" (). Isaiah's feast of wines on the lees () is where the cup is finally poured — in the same oracle where death is swallowed and the dunghill treads its last. SCAFFOLD
And the fourth-year verdict is not only an axe withheld; it is an estate distributed. The faithful are stationed — "have thou authority over ten cities" (): governance lots, on earth, scaled to faithfulness. The eternal order has an outside that is not the lake — saved nations walking in the city's light, kings bringing glory in (), a priesthood reigning on the earth (). Daniel's lot () comes with no address; some lots may stand outside the walls, crowned and at work, recovering the ground — beginning with ground like Re'im's. CONVICTION

For the one saying "Lord, send me"
Obey the Siloam ruling before quoting it. Refuse every conversation that grades the dead. When the subject arises, answer as the Judge answered: turn the verdict-question into the summons — "except we repent." One ruling, applied in real rooms, is worth more than this whole page.
Weep first. Pray by name for the bereaved of the Gaza-border kibbutzim and the festival families, and for the captives and their houses — before analysis, always.
Keep the fourth year as a fourth year. The parable's grant is digging and dunging — broken ground and applied grace. Concretely: a weekly fast or vigil between now and the evening opening of October 10, 2026 (sunrise-numbered Tishri 15 begins October 11), held for the fruit of the tree — national and personal return, as the standing text.
Verify the SPINE with your own hands. Read and find Gaza on the border; read and find Madmannah beside Ziklag; open Strong's H4089 and read the meaning;3 read Isaiah 25 whole and mark verses 6, 8, and 10.5 A witness who has checked the ground holds it differently.
Then walk the docket. This page is one panel of a sequence: The Divine Judge (the docket of the great day) → The Hour of Noon (the sky's noon, Sept 23 – Oct 9, 2026) → The 120 Jubilees (the clock) → The Long Battle for Moriah (the terminus).10
