Until Shiloh Come
שִׁילֹה · SEILUN · SEILI
Three names noticed together — the oracle, the ruin, the hospital island — and the road of a rejected stone across the sky, 2024 to 2027.
THE HEAD TRODDEN THRICE · THE WEIGHING PASSED OVER · REST AT THE LAMB
Five stations from a reproducible, model-dependent ephemeris; touch or focus each station to separate the computed position from the exhibit's reading.
The claim, whole, before the evidence
A minor planet named for Seili — an island that held a leprosy hospital and other confined patients — bears a name that sounds arrestingly near Shiloh and Seilun without sharing a demonstrated etymology. Sanhedrin 98 preserves, as distinct answers in one discussion, the names 'Shiloh' and 'the Leper Scholar.' The exhibit then lays a computed 2024–2027 ephemeris beside those texts: a passage through Hydra's head region, Libra, solar conjunction, and a 2027 approach to Saturn in the sky region read here as the Lamb's border. Those positions are the model-dependent SPINE. The road they appear to preach — head bruised, weighing passed over, fire crossed, rest at the Lamb — is SCAFFOLD. That the convergence is an inspired signature, hidden in plain sight and sealed until the time when it could be found, is the Wellkeeper's CONVICTION and lived TESTIMONY, logged here for posterity rather than offered as a public portent or a test of faith.
The name · the folio · the island
Three names noticed together
Shiloh in Jacob's oracle; Seilun on the ground where the ark rested; Seili on the island of the ones sent outside the camp. The receipts, in order:
Two related place-names, one resembling island-name, and a genuinely disputed crux.
Genesis 49:10's שִׁילֹה is a named crux with several ancient readings — the name, the destination, 'he whose it is' (compared with Ezekiel 21:27), and 'tribute to him.' The witnesses do not resolve its grammar unanimously, though Targum Onkelos gives an explicit messianic reading: 'until Messiah comes, whose is the kingdom.' The shrine-name Shiloh survives in the Arabic place-name Seilun. Finnish Seili is commonly traced through Swedish Själö, 'seal island'; its resemblance is noticed here as correspondence, not asserted as linguistic descent.
Sanhedrin 98 preserves both names in one discussion; the exhibit notices their proximity.
Folio 98b asks Messiah's name. The school of Rabbi Shila answers: Shiloh — citing Genesis 49:10. Later in the list, the Rabbis answer: the Leper Scholar — citing Isaiah 53:4, 'we esteemed him stricken [nagua].' On 98a, Messiah sits among sufferers at the gate, tending his bandages one at a time so he can rise without delay. These are separate answers, not a pair declared by the Talmud. The exhibit joins their proximity as SCAFFOLD. Jerome's quasi leprosum — 'as it were a leper' — is a qualified but striking Latin witness.
The island is Leviticus 13:46 built in water and rock.
In 1619 the Swedish crown moved Turku's leper hospital — St George's, the dragon-slayer's house — to the island of Seili. The exiled brought the planks for their own coffins and never returned; the island church still keeps the rail that held the lepers apart even at worship. 'He shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be' — and the epistle's answer: 'let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.' In 1942 the astronomers of Turku — the university that would inherit the island — set the lepers' island's name on a stone in the heavens.
WINK The school of Rabbi Shila is the house that answers "his name is Shiloh" — the sages heard their own name in the oracle and said so. And the lepers' hospital was St George's — the dragon-slayer's house — whose island's stone ends its road standing over the head of the sea-monster. The naming threads run true at both ends.
The road
Five stations, computed and reproducible
Everything below is reproducible in JPL Horizons — target 2292, ecliptic longitude and latitude. Across the dated road, the stone runsabout magnitude 15.3–18.0: a sign in the ledger, not a light in the street.
Three apparent passes through Hydra's head region — and the middle station kept where the text puts it.
The working calculation places Seili nearest δ Hydrae on 20–21 October 2024, followed by an apparent passage through Hydra's head region, a 4 December station, a retrograde re-crossing, a 24 March 2025 turn, and a third spring pass. The minimum separation must be recomputed and archived in a single coordinate frame before being quoted numerically. Its early-October track also approaches the sky region where Halley stood near its December 2023 aphelion. Reading that geometry as Revelation's middle station — head bruised, dragon's star bound — is SCAFFOLD and CONVICTION. The lake belongs to the book's last act (20:7–10), and the exhibit leaves it there.
The house-count passage through Libra: the measured track and the proposed sermon.
On this exhibit's full-moon-reckoned house count, Teruah is sunrise-numbered 27 September 2026 and the corresponding Atonement day is sunrise 6 October (its preceding evening opens at sunset October 5). These are not the received Jewish-calendar dates (Rosh Hashanah begins 11 September; Yom Kippur begins 20 September in 2026). The working ephemeris places Seili's track through Libra across the house's ten-day interval. The position is SPINE once reproduced under disclosed settings; 'through the weighing untouched' and the comparison with the 65–66 tableau are SCAFFOLD and CONVICTION.
The unturning year, the fire, and the rest at the Lamb.
The working ephemeris shows no apparent station or retrograde between September 2026 and July 2027, a result to retain only with its observer and sampling settings. It places solar conjunction on 9–10 January 2027, an ecliptic crossing near 28 June, and a close approach to Saturn on 21 July in the sky region read here as the Lamb's border and over Cetus. The previously quoted 0.33° separation must be confirmed by an archived same-frame calculation. The companion calculation places Jupiter near Regulus six days later. Joining those positions to Genesis 49:10 and Daniel 12:13 is the exhibit's SCAFFOLD and the Wellkeeper's CONVICTION.
WINK On 20–21 October 2024, and again on 21 July 2027, the working frames for this exhibit were captured on what the later working calculation identified as the closest-contact dates, before those minima had been sought. The eye kept finding the day; the arithmetic appeared to agree afterward. This is dated TESTIMONY, not independent verification of the calculation.

The readings — scaffold, conviction, and testimony, fenced and labeled
The stone is read as a signature, not an avatar or public portent.
At about magnitude 17.9 during the October 2024 head passage in a geocentric JPL Horizons observer ephemeris, no unaided watchman saw it. The Wellkeeper's inspired conviction is that it was not appointed as a portent for the crowd but as a ledger-entry: hidden in plain sight, findable with the tools of this generation, and sealed until the time when many run to and fro and knowledge is increased (Dan 12:4). The naming in 1942 was a human act; that the names, texts, lived moment, and later-computed road converge is read here through Psalm 118:23 — 'this is the LORD's doing.' The record preserves that conviction for posterity; it does not convert it into documentary proof.
TESTIMONY — the Wellkeeper at Shiloh while the stone stood on the head.
In late October and early November of 2024, as the stone made its first tread across the serpent's crown stars, the Wellkeeper stood at Shiloh itself — Khirbet Seilun — on what he holds was his last visit to the Land before the return. He reads that season as a decisive breaking in the unseen realm. This is first-person witness, dated and told in its own voice; the ephemeris can carry the sign, but it cannot audit the throne room, and this exhibit does not pretend it can. What the text and the sky together will bear is written in the panel above: the head bruised, the serpent bound — Revelation's middle station, with the last station left to the Book's last act.
The road's two ends preach one sermon: the weighing passed over, the rest arrived at.
On the house calendar, the stone opens near Libra during the house's weighing feast and closes beside the Sabbath star in the sky region read as the Lamb. Read with the Venus buttonhook of the same autumn, the Wellkeeper hears one message from two correspondences: the verdict-season of 66 is not being replayed; the return-season is. This is not a declaration of anyone's salvation, condemnation, or a date of return. It is the Wellkeeper's conviction; the underlying positions remain available to check.
The charge
For the one saying "Lord, send me"
Check the stone yourself.
Use JPL Horizons for target 2292 and record the observer, time scale, apparent/astrometric choice, coordinate frame, and epoch. Compare Seili and each star or planet in the same frame and calculate true angular separation; longitude alone is not a conjunction. Archive the query output and retrieval date with the exhibit.
Watch it in Stellarium.
stellarium-web.org → search 'Seili' → step the dates. Modern epochs are reliable there; the same is not true of ancient comet markers, and knowing the difference is part of the discipline.

The Finnish heritage pages on Seili (nationalparks.fi) — the 1619 decree, the coffin planks, the church rail. Ten minutes of reading; the whole Leviticus 13 statute in institutional form.
Then welcome one prodigal.
The Talmudic scene places Messiah at the gate among sufferers, ready to rise when called; Hebrews calls readers to Jesus outside the camp. Let Scripture and practical care carry the invitation. The sky correspondence is not a test of faith, a deadline, or leverage over another person's conscience.
The honest verdict: The texts, royal decree, island record, and asteroid naming are documentary. The positions are model-dependent calculations that stand only with their disclosed settings. Seili is the island's name, not a proven linguistic form of Shiloh. That its resemblance, the two names in Sanhedrin, the hospital history, the computed road, and the Wellkeeper's lived season belong together is SCAFFOLD, CONVICTION, and TESTIMONY: an inspired signature noticed for posterity, hidden in plain sight and sealed until the time. It establishes neither a return date nor anyone's standing before God. The builders are free to refuse the stone. That, too, is in the psalm.
The lepers carried their own coffin boards to the island, and never returned. The island's name was set on a stone in the heavens, and the stone walked to the Lamb and rested. Whosoever will, let him come home the same road.

The spine, cited
[1]Genesis 49:10 — the Shiloh crux — Jacob's deathbed oracle over Judah; MT with LXX and Targum Onkelos
'The sceptre shall not depart from Judah… until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.' The word שִׁילֹה is a named crux with several major readings: the personal name ('until Shiloh comes'); the destination ('until he comes to Shiloh,' the shrine); the possessive (shelloh — 'until he comes whose it is,' compared with Ezekiel 21:27); and shai loh, 'until tribute comes to him.' The ancient witnesses are not grammatically unanimous. Targum Onkelos is an important explicitly messianic witness: 'until Messiah comes, whose is the kingdom.'
[2]Sanhedrin 98a–98b — Shiloh and the Leper on one folio — Babylonian Talmud, the Messiah sugya
98b preserves a list of proposed names: 'What is his name? The school of Rabbi Shila said: Shiloh is his name, as it is stated, until Shiloh come.' Later in the same discussion the Rabbis answer: the Leper Scholar (chivara d'vei Rabbi), citing Isaiah 53:4. On 98a, the gate scene places Messiah among sufferers, unbinding and rebinding his bandages one at a time so he can rise without delay. These are distinct traditions in one discussion; the exhibit, not the Talmud, notices their proximity.
[3]Psalm 118:22–24 — the rejected stone — The Hallel of the feasts
'The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made.' Quoted by Messiah of himself (Matt 21:42) and by Peter to the builders' own council (Acts 4:11). The psalm that supplies this exhibit's thesis also supplies its epistemology: the marvel is precisely that the LORD did it through what the builders passed over.
[4]Isaiah 53:3–4 — nagua; Vulgate: quasi leprosum — The Servant esteemed stricken; Jerome's Latin
'We hid as it were our faces from him… we did esteem him stricken' — nagua, a word also used in the plague vocabulary of Leviticus 13. Jerome rendered the clause 'et nos putavimus eum quasi leprosum' — 'and we thought him as it were a leper.' The qualifier matters: the Vulgate says 'as it were,' while Sanhedrin 98b cites the verse for the Leper Scholar. Their proximity is a reception-history witness, not proof that the traditions make an identical claim.
[5]Leviticus 13:46 & Hebrews 13:12–13 — outside the camp — The leper's statute, and its fulfillment clause
'He shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.' And the answer across the canon: 'Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.' The exile island is the statute built in water and rock; the epistle makes the exile the meeting place.
[6]The stone canon — Daniel 2, Zechariah 3:9, Daniel 12:13, Revelation 2:17 — The stone cut without hands; the stone before the priest; the lot; the white stone
Daniel 2:34–45: the stone cut out without hands smites the image and becomes a mountain filling the earth. Zechariah 3:9: the stone set before Joshua the high priest in filthy garments — 'and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.' Daniel 12:13: 'thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot (goral) at the end of the days.' Revelation 2:17: the white stone with the new name, which the companion exhibit Beauty for Ashes reads with the goral. The stone-vocabulary of Scripture is a single braided cord, and this exhibit pulls one strand of it.
[7]Seili (Själö) — the leper island, 1619–1785 — Finnish Heritage records; Archipelago Research Institute, University of Turku
By decree of King Gustav II Adolf in 1619, Turku's leper hospital — dedicated to St George — was moved to the island of Seili. Patients brought 20 thalers and the planks for their own coffins; once landed, they never left. Mortality ran 20–30% a year; leprosy was held to be divine punishment. The island church still keeps the segregated section built for the lepers. The last leper died in 1784–85; a women's asylum followed until 1962, when the island passed to the University of Turku — whose Turku observatory had, in 1942, discovered and named the asteroid.
[8]2292 Seili (1942 RM) — the stone itself, and how it is tracked — JPL Horizons / Small-Body Database; orbit solution retrieved in 2026
An ~11 km minor planet discovered at Turku in 1942 (the Väisälä survey), named for the island, orbiting at roughly 2.0–3.2 AU with a 4.24-year period. JPL lists absolute magnitude H = 11.85; that is not its apparent brightness from Earth. A geocentric Horizons observer ephemeris gives apparent visual magnitude about 16.6–18.0 during the October 2024–May 2025 head passage and about 15.3–18.0 across this exhibit's October 2024–July 2027 road — never visible to an unaided eye. Positions and apparent magnitudes are model-dependent ephemeris results and must be reproducible under the disclosed observer, coordinate-frame, epoch, and time settings. Hebrew Shiloh and Arabic Seilun are associated place-name forms. Finnish Seili, commonly traced through Swedish Själö ('seal island'), is not a demonstrated descendant of either; this exhibit notices the resemblance without claiming an etymology.
[9]Revelation 12:9, 20:1–3, 20:7–10 — the three stations of the serpent's fall — The book's own sequence, kept in order
The serpent falls in 3 distinct stations, spaced by the text itself: cast down from heaven (12:9); bound in the abyss for the thousand years (20:1–3); and cast into the lake of fire only after the loosing and the little season (20:7–10). This exhibit's 2024–25 panel is written to the middle station — the head bruised, the dragon's star bound — because that is the slot the text offers and the geometry depicts. The lake belongs to the book's last act, and the exhibit leaves it there.
[10]Genesis 3:15 — the protoevangelium — Her seed and the serpent's head
'It shall bruise (shuf — crush, grind) thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.' The companion exhibit The Sign of the Woman proposes an ancient sky enactment at the Scorpion's head stars in November 65. This exhibit proposes a modern correspondence: the Seili-named stone making 3 apparent passes through Hydra's head region, October 2024 – May 2025. Two serpents' heads, two eras, one verse is SCAFFOLD, not a statement made by Genesis.
[11]The Sign of the Woman — companion exhibit and shared methods — TheTimeOfTheReturn.com
The Rev 12 exhibit carries the full 65–66 CE tableau, the Venus buttonhook at the seed, Halley's home in Hydra (98% of every orbit; aphelion at the serpent's head, reached December 2023), and the Leo handoff of 2026–27 whose crowning week this exhibit's road runs into. Computational methods (Swiss Ephemeris for planets, Horizons for the stone, positions of date, fences on boundary conventions) are shared across both.
