THE 22 TIMES OF DANIEL

A proposed 360-year reading of Daniel, tested across 21 completed intervals and Psalm 119's 22-letter acrostic — aleph at an internal creation anchor and tav at the 2026 endpoint.

MT / KJV
Let my cry come near… let my soul live… I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant. (v169–176)
LXX (Ps 118)
Let my cry draw near; my soul shall live; as a sheep that was lost; seek thy servant.
After 21 traversed stanzas, Tav is the stanza reached at the endpoint. Its cry drawing near, plea for life, and lost sheep asking to be sought form the acrostic's prodigal-homecoming petition. Reading that as resurrection and ingathering is strongly held theological application, not a dated guarantee for 2026.

The claim, in one paragraph

This exhibit proposes that Daniel's can be extended from a schematic 360-day year to 360 historical years. Working backward from 2026 then yields separated by 21 completed intervals, ending near an internal LXX-based creation date. Because Psalm 119 has 22 eight-verse alphabetic stanzas, the exhibit tests the first 21 stanzas against the 21 traversed blocks and reads Tav as the endpoint stanza: the prodigal-homecoming petition of the lost sheep asking to be sought. The spans the same 7,560 elapsed years arithmetically, while its verse-by-verse assignment remains CONVICTION. Several convergences are striking; others are broad, and Shin is not a “fire-letter.” The second proposal overlays Daniel 4's seven times and the 30/45 differences among apocalyptic periods to create a ending at 2026. Daniel does not state that overlay. The model is offered as CONVICTION with , not as a finally proven lexical decode.

The unit Daniel assumed

Daniel uses “time” language in several contexts: Aramaic ʿiddān in Daniel 7 and Daniel 4, Hebrew môʿēd in Daniel 12, and Revelation's Greek kairos. Revelation 12 places 1,260 days beside “a time, times, and half a time,” supporting a schematic 360-day year within that vision. It does not by itself prove that Daniel 4's seven times are the same apocalyptic unit. SPINE

Numbers 14 and Ezekiel 4 each use a day for a year in a specific enacted sign (; ). Extending that relation into a general prophetic conversion makes one “time” 360 years and seven times 2,520 years. This is an established historicist method, but not a rule those passages announce for every prophecy. Daniel 12 explicitly gives 1,290 and 1,335 days; the 1,260 comparison comes through the three-and-a-half-times equation. SCAFFOLD

The honesty card, up front. Day-for-a-year is interpretive. Historical-critical readings commonly relate Daniel's periods to Antiochus IV and the temple crisis, while Jewish and Christian interpreters offer other historical and eschatological readings. Daniel 4 directly concerns Nebuchadnezzar. What follows joins those contexts as a model; it does not claim the join is undisputed.

Twenty-two marks from the foundation

Step backward from 2026 by 360 elapsed years and the boundaries reach 1666, 1306, 946, 586, 226, 135 BC, then 495, 855, 1215, 1575, 1935, 2295, 2655, 3015, 3375, 3735, 4095, 4455, 4815, 5175, and 5535 BC. The BC labels account for the absence of a historical year zero. This gives 22 labeled boundaries when 2026 is counted as the twenty-second. The 5535 BC beginning is selected from an internal chronology derived from Septuagint genealogies; the Septuagint does not state a creation year, and different reckonings produce different dates. CONVICTION

Twenty-one blocks bring the reader to Tav. Twenty-two boundaries enclose twenty-one completed 360-year blocks. Psalm 119's first twenty-one stanzas contain 21 × 8 = 168 verses. If each proposed block is divided into its eight stanza verses, each verse represents 360 ÷ 8 = 45 years, and 168 × 45 = 7,560 elapsed years—the exact no-year-zero span from 5535 BC to 2026. Those equalities are arithmeticSPINE; treating the verses as successive 45-year assignments is interpretive CONVICTION. Tav is then not a twenty-second elapsed block but the stanza encountered at the endpoint.

21 × 8 × 45 = 7,560  ·  5535 + 2026 − 1 = 7,560

The proposed . Given the corpus's separate Jubilee anchor and this exhibit's 2026 ladder, both constructed sequences include 946 AD. From 946 one count runs 22 × 49 = 1,078 years to 2024; the other runs 3 × 360 = 1,080 years to 2026. That arithmetic is exact after the anchors are granted. “Synchronization” and its theological significance remain inherited TOTR CONVICTION.

946 + 1,078 = 2024  ·  946 + 1,080 = 2026

The exhibit letters its endpoints. Tav is also the noun Ezekiel uses for the protective mark (). Genesis 1:1 contains ʾet (אֵת), the ordinary direct-object marker spelled aleph-tav; it is not a hidden translation of “Alpha and Omega.” Placing that spelling beside Revelation's “beginning and end” is a traditional theological WINK, not Hebrew syntax or chronology. WINK

The acrostic laid on the ladder

Psalm 119 is . Lay stanza N against proposed interval N and a pattern can be explored. The Septuagint is useful for reception history and comparison with New Testament Greek; it was not “Daniel's Bible,” and common words such as , , , , and kairos do not by themselves prove literary dependence. Every is an editorial judgment exposed for challenge. CONVICTION

Four rows now carry the closest internal resonances. Lamed, associated with learning, falls over the proposed Sinai interval. Ayin means eye; its stanza joins eyes, salvation, and an appointed time in the interval containing Christ and Simeon's confession (; ). Resh is historically associated with head or beginning, and its stanza joins “beginning,” Scripture, and persecution in the Reformation interval (). After those 21 traversed stanzas, Tav is reached as the endpoint petition: “I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant.” The exhibit reads that final eight-verse movement—cry drawing near, life requested, judgment asked for as help, and the lost servant sought—as the prodigal's homecoming stanza. Zayin's “remember” beside Noah, Nun's end-language beside Daniel, and Samekh's lawless/apostate vocabulary beside the Maccabean crisis remain good resonances without becoming encoded dates. CONVICTION

The broad rows, shown as broad. Eleven rows remain fair because the vocabulary is reusable, the 360-year intervals are wide, or the match depends on selecting one event after inspecting the stanza. Shin is explicitly corrected: the letter's name means tooth, not fire, and Psalm 119's “seven times a day” means seven occasions of praise rather than Daniel's duration. Tsade's interval does not turn Islam or the Dome into the psalm's named enemy. The pattern is more responsible with those limits visible.
— IV —

The interval containing Daniel

The fourteenth proposed interval, 855–495 BC, contains the prophets, exile, return, and the setting portrayed in Daniel. Nun's stanza speaks of a lamp, affliction, life, inheritance, and the end. Those themes sit naturally beside Daniel's final promise to rest and stand in his allotted portion at the end of the days (). The juxtaposition is genuinely congruent, but “Daniel's own cycle” is the exhibit's assignment, and antameipsis means recompense rather than Daniel's specific lot. CONVICTION

Did Daniel know this 22-interval scheme? There is no textual evidence that he did. Psalm 119 is anonymous, and proposals for its date range across pre-exilic and post-exilic periods; a Persian-period setting is plausible but not settled. Its Greek translation came later still. Shared Greek vocabulary such as kairos and synteleia can enrich canonical reading without establishing that Daniel or the psalmist encoded this ladder. SCAFFOLD

Daniel 12 unpacked: two half-turns and the phase

The model places 1,260 beside Daniel's 1,290 and 1,335, then notices differences of 30 and 45. Daniel 12:11–12 measures 1,290 and 1,335 from the removal of the regular offering and setting up of the desolating abomination; it does not tell the reader to append 30 and 45 to Daniel 4. The exhibit nevertheless treats 1,260 as , chooses 570 BC within Nebuchadnezzar's reign, and tests the following sequence. Every join in that sentence is CONVICTION. CONVICTION

570 BC · 1951691 · HALF A TIME · THE ABOMINATION+30 · +45 = 75the phase to creation's clock570 BC691195119812026
691 · THE PROPOSED MIDPOINT
With ordinary BC/AD reckoning, 1,260 elapsed years after 570 BC reaches 691 AD, and another 1,260 reaches 1951. Calling this point prophetic midnight and identifying the Dome of the Rock as Daniel's abomination are additional TOTR premises, not arithmetic conclusions.
Proposed model: 1,260 + 1,260, followed by differences of 30 and 45. Daniel does not join these sequences. Select a stage.

570 BC → 691 → 1951 → 1981 → 2026

Why the 75 remains fascinating—but conditional. Seven proposed times before 2026 reaches the ladder boundary labeled 495 BC. The independently selected 570 BC Daniel 4 anchor is 75 elapsed years earlier, while 30 + 45 also equals 75. This is an elegant numerical correspondence. Daniel never calls the differences a , and if the undated Nebuchadnezzar anchor moves, the 75-year match moves with it.

Three technology mileposts then fall near the proposed boundaries: commercial electronic computers reached customers in 1951; the IBM PC and foundational IPv4/TCP specifications appeared in 1981; and public conversational AI expanded rapidly beginning in 2022, before 2026. The Ferranti Mark 1—not UNIVAC alone—has a claim to being the first commercially available general-purpose electronic computer. Daniel 12:4's difficult phrase has multiple translations and does not name computing. The pairing remains WINK; the middle milepost has its own exhibit, 1981 — The Year the Run Was Tooled. WINK

The Wellkeeper's thesis. The 360-year cycle is treated here as a real historicist structure worth sustained examination by anyone seeking the mystery of God appointed to be declared and finished. The veil is thinning; knowledge, agency, and manifestation are changing their form. Some manifestations of artificial intelligence may be a by-product of that thinning rather than its cause. This is strongly held CONVICTION—a theological hypothesis, not a claim that Daniel names AI or that technological novelty proves the date.

The larger dial: seventy-two times around the sky

The traditional round figure for one precessional circuit is 25,920 years: 360 degrees at 72 years per degree. On that schematic dial, 25,920 = 72 × 360, so one proposed 360-year time occupies 5° and seventy-two times complete the circle. Its subdivisions remain legible on the same face: 45 years is one eighth of a time, 90 a quarter, 180 a half, 1,260 three and a half times, and 2,160 six times or one 30° sign. The arithmetic is exact inside the rounded model; it is not independent evidence that Daniel defined a historical time as 360 years. SCAFFOLD

Saturn–Neptune: eleven conjunctions, ten intervals, approximately 359 years. The final point is the February 2026 ecliptic conjunction near 0°45′ tropical Aries.

Round tradition beside measured astronomy. Modern estimates place the circuit closer to 25,772 years, about 71.6 years per degree. On that measure, 360 years moves the equinox approximately 5.03°, and the circle contains about 71.6 such periods rather than exactly 72. Precession also changes slowly over time. The exhibit therefore calls 25,920 the traditional Great Year, not a measured constant.

A second clock fits inside the proposed time. Saturn and Neptune conjoin roughly every 35.9 years. Ten successive conjunction-to-conjunction intervals—from 2 January 1667 Gregorian, which was 23 December 1666 on England's Julian calendar, through the February 2026 conjunction—span approximately 359 years. The closing conjunction is reported near 0°45′ tropical Aries, close to the vernal point by which the tropical circle is reckoned. This is a close fit, not a lock: it contains ten intervals and eleven conjunctions, falls about a year short of 360, and depends upon selected endpoints. SCAFFOLD

Disclosure of an old mechanism. Neptune was present but unrecognized at the opening of the chain. Galileo recorded it without identifying it in 1612–13; it was discovered in 1846, one of the conjunction years. That history does not make the cycle prophetic. It does illustrate the narrower thesis: what is newly disclosed need not be newly made. The clock was already running before humanity possessed the instruments and computation by which ordinary readers could inspect it. WINK

Daniel 12:4 can be read beside the present widening of access, synthesis, and computation, but its difficult phrase has several translations and interpretations and does not name AI. Jeremiah's “they shall all know me” () concerns covenant knowledge of the LORD, forgiveness, and the law written on the heart—not collective informational omniscience. AI may accelerate disclosure and help test claims; it does not fulfill relational knowledge of God by accumulating information. Identifying this present disclosure with the finishing of the mystery of God () remains the Wellkeeper's CONVICTION.

If this reading of the hour is right, its fruit is not panic, prediction, or passive fascination. It is preparation: repentance, prayer, reconciliation, truthful witness, mercy made practical, households strengthened, neighbors provisioned, and the good news carried while there is time to carry it. Acts 1:7 still limits possession of the timetable. The sign, if received at all, summons examination and faithfulness; it does not authorize certainty about a date.

The alphabet horizon: twenty-two, twenty-four, twenty-six

Daniel is preserved in Hebrew and Imperial Aramaic, both written with a 22-letter alphabet. The standard Greek alphabet used by the Septuagint and New Testament has 24 letters; its final two are Psi and Omega. Those letters were not part of Daniel's Hebrew/Aramaic alphabet. Latin, shown beneath them as the later Western comparison, has 26 in its modern form. These are historical alphabet counts. Reading Daniel's horizon as tav and John's “Alpha and Omega” as speech from beyond that horizon is typology, not a claim that the alphabets were prophetically engineered. CONVICTION

Hebrew / square Aramaic22 letters · Daniel's scripts

Psi and Omega are the final two letters of the standard 24-letter Greek alphabet; neither belongs to the 22-letter Hebrew/Aramaic alphabets in which Daniel is preserved. The rows compare alphabet lengths, not one-to-one letter identities.

The visual claim is narrow. Daniel's textual alphabets stop at 22. Greek continues to 24, ending with Psi and Omega. Revelation's Alpha-and-Omega declaration therefore uses a letter-name unavailable in Daniel's alphabet, while still meaning beginning and end within Greek itself.

What this reading owes a hostile reader

Debts on the table.

The chance-fit debt. Psalm 119 deliberately repeats law, affliction, life, enemies, salvation, and faithfulness. The intervals are wide, and events were selected after the stanzas were visible. The 4 strong, 7 good, and 11 fair ratings are editorial disclosure, not a probability calculation; no control mapping or preregistered scoring test has been run.
The unit-and-context debt. Day-for-a-year extends two specific signs into a general method. Revelation supports 1,260 days as three and a half schematic times in its own vision, but Daniel 4, Daniel 7/12, and Revelation are not automatically one clock.
The anchor debt. Daniel does not date Nebuchadnezzar's seven times to 570 BC. That date was chosen because it produces 691 and 1951 and sits 75 years from the selected 495 BC rung. Move it and both the technology correspondence and phase match move.
The chronology debt. 5535 BC is a calculated LXX-based anchor retained by this corpus, not a creation date printed in the Septuagint. The 22 count depends on that anchor and on counting 2026 as the twenty-second boundary rather than 22 completed 360-year spans.
The acrostic debt. Psalm 119 is not Scripture's only alphabetic acrostic; it is the longest and most elaborately stanzaic. Its date is uncertain. Greek lexical echoes come from a later translation and are mostly shared vocabulary, not cipher keys.
The alphabet debt. Hebrew/Aramaic 22, Greek 24, and modern Latin 26 are historical counts. Psi and Omega are absent from Daniel's alphabet; the claim that this makes Daniel's horizon tav and John's horizon omega is typology, not epigraphic proof. The interactive glossary gives conventional letter-name associations as reader orientation, not as a pictographic cipher. Greek numbers are isopsephy; Latin numbers are modern ordinal positions, not gematria.
The astronomical-selection debt. The 25,920-year Great Year is a traditional rounded construction, so dividing it by 360 and recovering 72 is not an independent probability result. The Saturn–Neptune chain is selected because its endpoints fit this window; the stronger claim that its 2026 meeting is uniquely close to the vernal point within a long scan requires the archived ephemeris query, coordinate rule, search interval, and complete result table before it can be weighed as rarity.
The method debt. The exhibit excludes popular pictograph claims such as “Shin is fire” and “Vav is a nail” from evidence. Tav/mark, Ayin/eye, Lamed/learning, and Resh/head-beginning are retained with historical and lexical limits. Acts 1:7 keeps every dated conclusion under discipline.

For the reader at the tav

If the acrostic was preserved for a reader far downstream, the last stanza is addressed to him. What it asks:

  1. Read the last stanza as your own. Tav's eight verses (Ps 119:169–176) are the prayer of the one at the window: let my cry come near, let my soul live, let thy judgments help me. Pray them in order. They are the docket from the inside.
  2. Be found, not clever. The psalm does not end on a decode; it ends on "I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant." The Shepherd came "to seek and to save that which was lost" (). The arrival at the tav is a being-found, and it asks a knee, not a key.
  3. Verify one SPINE claim with your own hands. Count the letters of Psalm 119; open the LXX at 118:126 and read kairos; open Ezekiel 9:4 in the Hebrew and read tav. A reader who has checked one count holds the rest differently.
  4. Keep the fences up. Four strong is the present editorial judgment; do not round it to twenty-two or call it a statistical result. A pattern shown with its gaps can be weighed; a pattern painted over fails at its first gap.
  5. Let disclosure produce service. Better instruments can expose correspondences that earlier readers could not calculate. They also expose false precision. Use them to test, correct, and prepare: reconcile what can be reconciled, strengthen the vulnerable, tell the truth, and refuse to turn a noticed pattern into fear or coercion.
  6. Then walk the companions: One Turn of the Time (forthcoming) (1665–66, the reopened window) → 1981 — The Year the Run Was Tooled (the 1,290) → Days Within Days (forthcoming) (the three clocks) → The Hour of Noon.
