An exhibit of The Time of the Return
Before man’s rule was given its span, God had already fixed the means of taking the earth back without taking away man’s will: the Son sent as the Lamb, the Spirit sent to abide and to work alongside the will of man, and an appointed time for judgment and the restoring of Eden, larger and better. The order is written: “every man in his own order” (1 Cor 15:23). The last step is the most humbling of all. The Son, holding all things, hands the kingdom back to the Father, in the manner of the one who took a towel. conviction

The verse that sets the span also withdraws the Spirit. The Comforter is promised in the same words, turned around.
“Not abide forever, because they are flesh” (Gen 6:3 LXX) is answered by “abide forever” (John 14:16), with “the Word was made flesh” (John 1:14) standing between them. The verb is the same family, μένω, and both close with εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα. spine Read as design: the decree that numbered man’s rule and the promise that ends the Spirit’s withdrawal are two halves of one sentence, spoken millennia apart. scaffold
This is the mechanism of the whole reconciliation. The earth is recovered without overriding the will of man, because the Spirit now abides and works with it: “we are labourers together with God” (1 Cor 3:9, συνεργοί); “work out your own salvation… for it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do” (Phil 2:12–13); “my yoke is easy” (Matt 11:30). spine

On this reading, 500 years from 1525 to 2025 were a night. The tools of knowledge advanced through it, and from 1981 the architecture of the running to and fro was fixed and shipped (1981 — The Year the Run Was Tooled). But the power from on high could mostly endure. conviction
Then the light returned. At Nazareth the Lord read Isaiah 61 as far as “the acceptable year of the Lord,” closed the book, and sat down (Luke 4:19–20). He left unread the rest of the verse: “and the day of vengeance of our God” (Isa 61:2). spine This corpus places that reading on the sabbath of 7 April 25 CE, and the opening of the great day at the Passover of April 2025, inside the jubilee year of liberty: the unread half of the verse, taken up 2,000 years later (The Divine Judge). conviction
The hour governs both the works and the death. At Cana: “mine hour is not yet come” (John 2:4). In the temple they sought to take him, “but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come” (John 7:30; 8:20). “No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself” (John 10:18). At Nazareth, the very day the acceptable year was read, they led him to the brow of the hill to throw him down, “but he passing through the midst of them went his way” (Luke 4:29–30). And the 2 witnesses cannot be harmed “when they shall have finished their testimony” and not before (Rev 11:5–7). spine The one who could turn water into wine abided until the hour; on this reading the missionary centuries were the same restraint at the scale of the body, works possible but withheld until the day. conviction
2 streams now run together. The tools built since 1981 and the power poured out since 2025 converge. The pattern was modeled for 1,260 days by 2 witnesses; what 2 men did then is now within reach of all who are endowed with power from on high, and the Lord said it would be more: “the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12). spine for the promise; conviction for its hour. What Christ accomplished in 2 years, spring 25 to spring 27, multiplied by the number who are His indeed, with the witness of the tools, is why this reading expects a very rapid change of mind. That is, to the letter, what repentance means: μετάνοια. “Shall a nation be born at once?” (Isa 66:8).
III
Zion can descend before the cull, because the presence itself does the sorting.
The precedent is Moses. “There shall no man see me, and live,” so Moses was set in a cleft of the rock while the glory passed (Exod 33:20–22). At the great day the rock is sought for the opposite reason: “hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne” (Rev 6:15–16); “enter into the rock… for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty” (Isa 2:10, 19, 21). spine
The presence is the weapon. The lawless one is destroyed “with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thess 2:8). “The day cometh, that shall burn as an oven… all that do wickedly, shall be stubble” (Mal 4:1). “Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?” (Isa 33:14). spine
And the same light shelters. “The nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it” (Rev 21:24); nothing that defiles enters (21:27). The heavens rent and the city descending, and wickedness burning like chaff in the presence of Zion’s glory, may be roughly concurrent. conviction
Mercy to the last. The King is told to “rule thou in the midst of thine enemies” (Ps 110:2), not after they are gone. The Lord is “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Pet 3:9). The city’s gates “shall not be shut at all by day” (Rev 21:25), and the leaves of its tree are “for the healing of the nations” (Rev 22:2). spine On this reading the offer stands open even to the resolute conscripts of defiance, until the verdict. conviction
The order of sessions follows the printed page. First the throne: the dead, small and great, before the Great White Throne, the books opened (Rev 20:11–15). Then the rending: “a new heaven and a new earth,” and the holy city coming down (21:1–2). Then the verdict on the living (21:8), who are judged with the dead under “the quick and the dead” (2 Tim 4:1; Acts 10:42). spine for the sequence of the text. That the throne has sat since 2025, the dead awakened to judgment with the house of God and shown what they missed, before any rending is seen, is this reading. conviction

Paul’s word for “order” is τάγμα, ranks drawn up in sequence: an order of operations, in his own vocabulary. His “till” is Psalm 110’s “until,” quoted outright: “Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool” (Ps 110:1). One clock runs from the seating to the handing back. spine
The handing back is an order of rank, not an exit. Inside the new city the throne remains “of God and of the Lamb” (Rev 22:1, 3), and its temple is “the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb” (21:22). On Revelation’s own terms “God all in all” (1 Cor 15:28) is the life of the city, which is why New Jerusalem can stand before, or together with, 1 Corinthians 15:28. scaffold
V
John states that all things were in the Son’s hands, and the very next act is kneeling with a towel. spine That is the form of the handover. The descent was humility: “he emptied himself, and took upon him the form of a servant” (Phil 2:7). The exaltation ends at the Father: every tongue confesses Jesus Christ is Lord “to the glory of God the Father” (Phil 2:11). The delivering up of the kingdom mirrors the emptying. scaffold
And the Maker experiences His creation through His creatures. “He that planted the ear, shall he not hear?” (Ps 94:9). “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these… ye have done it unto me” (Matt 25:40). “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” (Acts 9:4). “In all their affliction he was afflicted” (Isa 63:9). God emptied into the Son, poured out by the Spirit, reconciles all things by entering them. scaffold
VI
The ancient horse supplies an image, but the gift of God reverses its meaning.
The illustration sets a manger in the opening of a city called “the city of death”; light comes through gates opening from within. Its labels, “the gate opened from within” and “the gates shall not prevail,” express this exhibit’s analogy, not a scene described in any cited passage. scaffold
What the rulers did not know. In the ancient horse story, an apparent gift was brought through Troy’s gates and opened them from inside. Paul says the rulers did not know God’s hidden wisdom: “had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” (1 Cor 2:7–8). In this exhibit’s deliberately inverted analogy, the rulers’ own act of crucifixion serves a purpose they did not foresee. spine for Paul's words; scaffold for the comparison.
God within creation. “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us” (John 1:14); the child lay “in a manger” (Luke 2:12), and the Son took “the form of a servant” (Phil 2:7). The Wellkeeper reads this humble, visible arrival as God entering His own creation as a good gift, unrecognized for what it would accomplish—not as a trick played on those He came to save. spine for the texts; scaffold for the image.
Opened from within. Hebrews says that through death He would defeat the one holding the power of death (Heb 2:14); Colossians speaks of His triumph over the powers (Col 2:15). Jesus also speaks of binding the strong man (Matt 12:29) and of the gates of Hades not prevailing (Matt 16:18). Reading these as one inside-the-gates operation is this exhibit’s synthesis, not the literal setting of each saying. spine for the passages; scaffold for the mechanism.
The gift continues within. After the incarnation and the cross, the promise is “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col 1:27). Jesus compares the kingdom to leaven hidden in meal until all is leavened (Matt 13:33). The Father gives good gifts (Matt 7:11); Luke names the Holy Spirit as the gift given to those who ask (Luke 11:13). Incarnation and the Spirit’s abiding are related stages of this reading, not the same event. spine for the texts; scaffold for the sequence.
James calls Him “the Father of lights,” from whom “every good gift and every perfect gift” comes, “with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17). The language of light and turning resonates with the sky in this exhibit, but it does not date an astronomical event. spine for James's words; wink for the celestial rhyme.
Virgil's warning belongs to a horse that was a lie and ended in a city's sack. Christ was announced by the prophets and offered as a gift, not concealed in order to destroy the people who receive Him. The parallel is about an unexpected opening from within; the moral direction is the opposite. scaffold
The Odyssey preserves the horse story but is not Scripture. The Wellkeeper also sees a possible return motif in the supplied planetarium screenshots: a minor body named Odysseus near the Sun on what he takes to be house-calendar Tishri 5; Venus returning toward Spica and approaching the minor body Rhadamanthus; and the minor body Penelope entering Virgo in the first days of Tishri. These are observations to test, not evidence that Homer encoded an ephemeris: the object names were assigned in modern times, and the dates, separations and comparison set have not been independently checked here. conviction for the reading; wink for the celestial analogy.
The Wellkeeper suspects astronomical knowledge was sometimes held closely and sees today’s wider access to ephemerides as fitting a season when the mystery of God is disclosed (Rev 10:7; cf. Dan 12:4). Neither passage specifies an ancient monopoly on ephemerides or identifies these minor bodies; the proposed relationship belongs to this reading, not to the quoted texts. conviction

The window this reading holds for the kingdom delivered up. Computed, then tiered.
Luxor, 2 August 2027, 10:05 UT, greatest eclipse. In the darkened noon sky: the Sun eclipsed in Cancer; Venus 2.8° from it and 0.53° from the Manger; Mercury 10° to the west; Jupiter 1.4° from Regulus, 21.6° to the east. spine
The sceptre of Genesis 49:10 was promised to Judah “until Shiloh come,” and the lion is Judah’s emblem (Gen 49:9). In the summer this reading holds for the kingdom delivered up, the king planet stands at the king star in the Lion, and at midday over Egypt the Sun is darkened while the evening star of the birth stands at the Manger. conviction (Until Shiloh Come)
The approach is already under way. Jupiter crossed into Leo on 23 September 2026, and Mars into Cancer on 25 September; Mars passes 0.25° from the Manger on 12 October, and meets Jupiter in Leo, 1.2° apart, on 16 November. Jupiter then closes on Regulus: 3.2° on 13 December 2026, 0.44° on 27 July 2027. spine
Base rates: Jupiter meets Regulus about once in 12 years; Venus passes the Manger every year; a total eclipse crosses some land most years. The sky is spine; the reading is conviction; that they fall in one fortnight of one summer is a wink.
VIII
The lexical debt. Genesis 6:3 says years (שָׁנָה; LXX ἔτη) in every ancient version. The 120 jubilees stand on structure, not vocabulary, and the companion exhibit pays that toll in the open.
The night. The years 1525–2025 hold the Scriptures put into the common tongue, the awakenings, and the great missionary centuries. The claim is the pattern of Cana: not that nothing was done, but that the δύναμις of the apostolic pattern was held back until the hour, as the Lord held back His own before His hour came (John 2:4).
The ordering debt. This sequence keeps Revelation’s printed order: the throne (20:11–15), then the new heaven and the descending city (21:1–2), then the verdict (21:8). What it asks beyond the page is that the throne has already been in session, unseen, since 2025. Readings that hold the city as present now, ahead of the throne, need recapitulation; this one needs less of it.
The date of the handover. Scripture orders 1 Corinthians 15:24–28 but does not date it. The summer 2027 window is conviction, read from the sky.
The witnesses. Identifying the 2 witnesses as Peter and Paul, slain in Campania, belongs to the companion exhibits and must answer Revelation 11:8 there.

“Here am I; send me” (Isa 6:8). First steps, named.
“How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luke 11:13). Ask aloud, today, in the words of John 14:16.
Choose 1 concrete act of service for someone who cannot repay it: a meal, a debt forgiven, a visit, a repair. John 13:15, “I have given you an example.” The kingdom is handed back in this form; practise it now.
Pray for 1 sick or bound person by name this week (Mark 16:17–18; James 5:14–16), and record what happens. Greater works begin as ordinary ones done in faith.
Open Blue Letter Bible, read Genesis 6:3 in the LXX and find καταμείνῃ; then John 14:16 in the Greek and find μένῃ. Check that both close with εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.
Stellarium Web handles these modern dates. Set the location to Luxor, the date to 2027-08-02, the time to 13:05 local (10:05 UT; Egypt observes daylight saving time in August), and find Venus beside M44 and Jupiter beside Regulus.
The Manger in the Sky → 1981 → The Divine Judge → Until Shiloh Come.
It was in His self-emptying that He could do all things; and in the end the One who holds all things kneels, that God may be all in all.
